Growing up, choosing to play in goal on fields and playgrounds the world over wasn't everybody's idea of fun. Still, rather than resting on its laurels, EA Sports has announced a number of new features for FIFA 11, the most high-profile of which is the Be A Goalkeeper mode, allowing for full 11 vs. However, a couple of years ago all of that changed with the much-improved FIFA 09 followed by an almost flawless football simulation last year in FIFA 10.
With official licences for most of the top leagues in the world and a bucketload of authentic players, FIFA was able to continually reel in the punters even if its gameplay was unable to match that of Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer. Also available on: PS2, PS3, PSP, Wii, PC, DSĪt one time the FIFA franchise was more or less a one-trick pony.
